Portrait of Sriram

Hey, I'm Sriram.

A bit about me

Hi, I'm Sriram, a CSE (AI & ML) student from Hyderabad who genuinely enjoys building solutions with code instead of chasing CGPA.

I'm learning DSA through Java, experienced as a Drones and Army Air Defense Intern at MCEME - SDD, and always working on a new project.

I like projects that mix code, design, and problem-solving. I'm curious, competitive, and always looking for smarter solutions.

For me, tech isn't only about programming, it's about bringing ideas from notepad to life.

Where I've worked

Drones & Army Air Defense Intern

MCEME - Simulator Development Division (SDD)

Internship May 2026 - July 2026

Enhancing military training capabilities at Simulator Development Division, a premier Indian Army facility.

Things I've built

SkyGuard

YOLO Computer Vision Python

Worked on improving the accuracy of the model by fine-tuning the YOLO architecture and incorporating advanced object detection techniques. Additionally, developed a user-friendly interface for real-time drone detection and tracking, enabling seamless monitoring of airspace.

Assembled a low cost survailance drone (FPV Drone) to detect drones in the vicinity and alert the user.

Unlike heavy, expensive radar systems that emit detectable RF signatures and struggle to track small plastic drones (due to low radar cross-sections), SkyGuard is completely RF-silent (passive), highly cost-effective, portable and uses optical YOLO detection to instantly differentiate drones from birds while providing operators with direct visual verification of payloads.

The portability of the drone allows for rapid deployment in diverse environments, making it an ideal complement to the fixed detection system.

Hyd-DSS

Gemini API Maps Full Stack

An emergency decision support ecosystem to minimize dispatcher overload and optimize first responder allocation, by replacing the existing first come first serve algorithm with a severity based algorithm to dynamically allocate the priority.

Utilizes AI-powered hotspot detection to continuously analyze incident density, severity, and proximity (such as clustering localized dengue cases or fire reports) to dynamically flag potential threats rather than relying on manual observation.

Incorporates a human-in-the-loop dispatch recommendation engine that assists in routing ambulances, fire, or police services while ensuring final control remains with operators. Includes a citizen-facing SOS portal with auto-geolocation and live maps to push verified warnings directly to affected communities.

JalRakshan

Arduino IoT GSM

An IoT-based emergency vehicular submersion alert system using Arduino, GSM, and water sensors. Triggers automatic distress alerts when water intrusion is detected, sending GPS coordinates via SMS to predefined contacts.

Chrome Extensions

JavaScript Chrome APIs Productivity

Experimental browser extensions for website blocking and internal productivity tools. Includes custom playback features like auto play/pause, picture-in-picture mode, and smart redirects.

More coming soon.

- Working on a drone familiarization system as a part of my internship with SDD.
- Setting up a home server to host my data.
